My freind got mad cause I didnt want to go swimming with and her four kids. I told her my mom is comming next week for the weekend and that my house needed to be cleaned. She says "Oh Ill help u latter" which she says alot and never fallows through on. She was here last night till almost 10 ,invited two of our mutual freinds to my house without asking me first (which I wanst annoyed with till they all picniced on my lawn). I just cant believe shes MAD at me that I didnt want to go swimming with her. WOW!!! All I wanna do is clean my house, watch a movie (GASP) and sit around. Im just frustated. thanks for listening.

She'll get over it.

Question; Do you really have 8 cats? That's a really long sig line ya got there. Not judging-I've got three in mine-just asking!!

Your friend doesn't sound very nice to me. A good friend understands that sometimes we have other plans. Her 4 kids are not your priorities. They're hers. I wouldn't expect her to volunteer to help you clean up, either(it doesn't sound like her word is good anyway.)

Sorry this happened to you, I think you are 100% right. She should be respectful of the fact you have you own life and your own stuff to do. Not that it matters much but is the pool at your house and she was fishing for an invitation or at her house, and she was looking to hang out? Either way you should be free to opt in or out, but I was just curious. For heavens sake, who on earth without kids WOULD want to spend a day listening to a friend yell at them all day long... I have kids and I'd probably opt out of that little scenario myself. Feel better, she'll get over it.

I thought you moved to your mom's basement to help out with grandma. Did that fall through.

Time to find better friends.

I agree!

You know, my first thought was "she probably wanted someone to watch the kids." :rolleyes1

Shes the one who keeps offering to help me clean. I hate it. I ended up caving when her youngest (2) called me and begged (in her cute two year old way) for me to come. By that point I was almost done. Her kids ended up helping me clean my kitchen (and it looked good). The oldest helped take out the trash. I have to finish vacuming the hall when the shark is charged. The bag ripped (cat litter everywere). Betwen My two homes, Yes theres 8 cats. When my two go to visit there pals, theres 8 total. Im working on getting a subletter to move to moms basement. Actually shes very involved in her kids but her hubby dosent swim so she just like having someone to chat with at the pool. Honestly, I only ended up watching one of the kids while she took the other potty (which is funny since I had no clue she left cause the little one and I were in the big flowing foutian). I love to be with her kids, but theres days I just wanna be alone, they just left at 10 since they were advoiding the packer game (and the hubby).

I think that your friend is rude. First, she hassles you to go with her and when that doesn't work, she turns her 2 year-old on you, 'cause let's face it the 2 year-old didn't call you all on her own.

i know. she lets the kids call me alot. Its annoying. I dont answer alot now cause of it.

I hate dealing with people who think the whole world revolves around them...
