Vent: Bad Customer Service

Shoprunner has free return shipping. I would just return it right back to them. That was truly terrible CS. I'm glad I read this, I would not shop BonTon after reading this.

AMX will refund the charge. AMX, in my experience, has excellent customer service. Yet another reason to buy from a brick and mortar.....

I'm sorry. This kind of thing always happens to me. In fact, it's happening to me right now with an Amazon "Prime" package...that is taking 8 days to arrive -- they changed the delivery date on me once the first date came and went...ugh.

Hopefully by some miracle the dress makes it to you on time; unlikely, but just maybe.

This doesn't help the OP, but you should contact Amazon. Any time I've had an issue with Amazon shipments, they've taken care of it. They've either given me a refund or reshipped the item overnight and they thrown in an extra month on my prime account a couple of times. I've found their customer service to be great. Yes, issues happen but I've always been more than happy with the outcome.

I actually did contact Amazon's (usually great) customer service and they were horrendous! I've never had a bad experience dealing with Amazon before, however this time it was like I was speaking with a 10 year old from another country...I used the chat feature which is usually the best method for me, and they didn't capitalize a single letter, they said "I appreciated" instead of "I appreciate it". It was so bad I sent the transcript to my husband. lol Basically in the end they said "too bad for you" which really shocked me. They said the item must have been out of stock so it would be delayed (even though it was in stock when I purchased it, and was still in stock the day I contacted Amazon). In the end it arrived on Thursday, the second delivery date they set...but I was worried it wouldn't come at all and it was a gift for my MIL who is dogsitting for us while we're in Disney World next week so that's why I was so concerned about it.
