Velocicoaster Ruins the Ambience of the Outdoor Dining Area of the Three Broomsticks

I would disagree. Bluto isn't even relevant anymore (and was never that relevant to begin with) You could probably ask most people on the street and they would have no idea who Bluto is as opposed to Harry Potter.
I disagree that many people wouldn't even know who he is anymore. Generally anybody over the age of 30 will know who he is and what cartoon he comes from. They might not know him if you just say his name in the middle of a average street, but show them a picture and they should figure it out. I'll give you that most young children might not know yet, but my kids don't know the boy who lived that well either. It's just not their cup of tea no matter how many times I tried to show it to them.

I also might be in the minority here, but I generally like listening to all the screams of terror no matter where I am in the park. Even if I'm sitting down to eat. Because that gets me excited for the ride I'm about to go on. And random screaming at Harry Potter land isn't that outside of the realm of the story either. Just imagine to yourself the death eater so going on a rampage. 🤣

One of the big attractions for theme parks is thrill coasters, I think it would be weird if parks tried to hide them. I guess if I'm sitting and eating at an amusement park, I would expect to hear the noise of the attractions and guests who are enjoying that park unless the space was advertised as "quiet".

I'm farther over 30 than I feel and had no idea who Bluto was until I looked him up just now, and I still don't really recall him. But regardless, I think when parks pick themed areas they must put enough market research into it to reasonably think that the area will appeal to enough people for enough time to make it financially worth it.

Even if somebody doesn't know who Pluto is, most people know who Popeye and Olive Oil are. And the theme of the ride is definitely within the realm of that cartoon. But like you pointed out, you don't necessarily need to know the characters intimately to enjoy the theming of the ride. I understand that the theming is now being changed, but how many decades of people have loved Splash Mountain but never seen Song of the South.

It's odd that one would be overly protective and have a problem with screams invading a ride for a little known character like Bluto yet would have no problem with those same screams/noise infringing on Harry Potter land.

Maybe I said something wrong, but I don't generally have issues listening to the screams anywhere?? I don't remember ever saying I have issues with hearing screams on the Bluto ride?

They probably should have built Velocicoast out to Bluto anyway since the noise from the white water rapids cancels out the Velocicoaster noise. That was just a failure on the part of the Velocicoaster team. But then again these teams are known to make huge blunders, like with the current VQ system and Fast and the Furious: DOA ride.

So it's a huge blunder because the noise spoils your down time at The 3 Broomsticks?

Without trying to sound rude, you do not seem to have any idea of just how much time and effort goes into making these decisions on where to put rides, again, you seem to believe they jump dump them anywhere they will fit. No doubt you'd have been happier if half the park was closed down so the ride could be build elsewhere and didn't infringe on your time at the 3 Broomsticks.

Using a quote from a important person when who keeps getting things wrong, "It really isn't that important to be honest."

Well, if having a quiet time at the 3 Broomsticks isn't important why keep going on about it?

After all, it's only going to get louder.

Obviously it's important enough for you to keep posting in this thread. You seem really bothered that people would prefer that Velocicoster not be built out towards Harry Potter and more towards Bluto. Why does it bother you so much?

Looking at the map I really don't see how they would have fit it over there. Design wise, it goes with the theming well where it's at. And also, I really don't think hearing screams at any part of The park would be considered a problem. It's just part of being at a theme park.

They could have easily built it in the Red circle area or the Blue Circle area. Just shift the ride over there.
You look at Diagon Alley, Star Wars land, and Hogsmeade (before Velocicoaster). They are all complete self contained lands that aren't infringed by any other lands.

I don't know, seeing the footprint of the ride, I really do not think it would have fit over there; not with the way the ride is currently designed. Within both sections, there are other rides that would have infringed upon the ability to safely build the Velocicoaster. I think your idea is a bit of wishful thinking and not entirely correct.

Stars War Land isn't even the same park.

No, it really isn't important to me at all, I am merely posting my thoughts here, as this is what the forum is for. As for me being bothered what "people" think, well, there's only one "person", yourself, who wants it moved.

Not gonna happen though is it.

Oh, and Galaxy's Edge is at Disney's Hollywood Studios, not IoA.

Again you say that they "easily" could of built it in the red or blue circled area, but you are just assuming. Logistically there could be hundreds of reasons as to whey they couldn't, electrical, plumbing, existing infrastructure, being able to get equipment in and out, while keeping the park open, guest safety, etc. There are so many factors that go into a major project like this and you just keep minimizing it like its easy peasy, just plop it anywhere. You clearly don't have the experience of a major project like this, try to look at it from a different prospective please.

Of course there are alot of factors, and you could make a million excuses for them.
But they have a track record of making some huge blunders.
How do you explain the Fast and the Furious: DOA ride.

I'll agree with you that Fast and Furious isn't that good, but that is an outlier, not the norm. I would say their track record is pretty damn good in the last 20 years, all of HP stuff, velocicoaster, Bourne stunt spectacular, Mummy ride, etc, etc.
I would say the have the opposite track record of making huge blunders.

Fast and the Furious is awful. How was that even green lit.
Anybody with half a brain could see that that ride would be dead on arrival (which is was).
