Aside from Sunshine Season's, are there any vegetarian friendly cs restaurants in EPCOT? We didn't seem to notice any last May and it's a bit of a pain not being able to eat there in the park. TIA.

I know that you can get good vegetarian in Morocco. However, if you go here you will find a chart available that shows every place that works, both counter and table service. It will also differentiate between different levels of vegetarianism.

Tangerine Cafe in Morocco has a delicious vegetarian platter. And, although Cantina de San Angel does not have any vegetarian items listed on the menu, I eat there often and simply order my meal without meat. I especially like the nachos.

I noticed on the All Ears website that it said the Electric Umbrella has a veggie burger. Anyone know anything about it? Is it really there and if so what kind is it? Typical Boca type? Thanks.

I am a vegan and my daughter is a vegetarian and my husband and son are meat eaters . We are going in July and were wondering about some of the choices. I can say that I have been several times and always found something or other as a vegetarian. I got some good advice for this upcoming trip from a thread I stared earlier, you may want to check it out. Lots of people gave good advice. Before I only had to worry that the veggie burger was a veggie burger, now I have to make sure it doesn't have cheese in it.

Someone mentioned the Moroccon restaurant. When I was in Marocco I got the best koos-koos (spelled it wrong i'm sure) dish. I think I am going to take their advice and try out the Moroccon restaurant in Epcot.
And to answer your question before, yes the Veggie burgers were similar in taste to the bocca burgers.

I'm veggie. Tangerine Cafe is definitely my favorite CS restaurant at Epcot. The Vegetarian Platter is quite good. I believe they also have a tabouleh wrap. I've also had the nachos without meat at the Cantina in Mexico which were pretty good. I believe that the Liberty Inn has a veggie burger as well.

You didn't indicate what kind of a vegetarian you are, but another idea if you are looking for veggie alternatives is to check out the kids menus. A lot of them have mac and cheese or PB&J. Adults can order the kids meals without any problems.

If you eat fish then check out the CS restaurant in Great Britain. I think it's called the Yorkshire Fish and Chips Shop. My DD and I are both vegetarians that eat fish but no meat or poultry. We always make it a point to stop here for lunch. The food is cooked fresh and the chips are steak fries.
If you want to take a little side trip out of EPCOT, Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club serves a veggie burger that's pretty good. Plus you can't beat the ice cream there.

Yes, Electric Umbrella serves a Boca-type veggie burger. The veggie burger at Liberty Inn is also Boca-type.

Well, by definition, vegetarians don't eat fish. Did you know that there is a word for your diet: pescetarian? I do love chips, though. Yum! :)

There is also the Matsunoma Lounge in Japan. They can make veggie sushi like avocado rolls, and it's a nice indoor lounge where you can relax and have a nice view. BTW, I recently got the Vegetarian Guide to WDW and Orlando book. It's really helpful!

Thanks Laura for pointing that out. And I'll have to check out that vegetarian's guide!

I'm another veggie who loves eating in Morocco.

I'm also a vegetarian on Weight Watchers..... I'm thinking my week in Disney on the dining plan will have to be one where I'm off my diet!

Of all of the CS in EPCOT, DD16 loved Tangierine Café the best for it's wonderful bread, hummus, tabouleh and couscous. My carnivorous son enjoyed the chicken shawarma platter (but wouldn't touch the lentil salad I'd gotten for myself) and the desserts are just awesome! They gave us so much food that we were stuffed and barely able to walk back to the BC to digest. For DD, it was probably the best meal she'd eaten at WDW all week.

I'm what I refer to as "boring vegetarians" :D We don't like a lot of the more adventurous foods and I can't stand portabellos. We don't eat any animals at all, fish included, and we don't drink cow's milk straight...if that makes sense. We'll eat it in foods and cheese...my children turned on me when I fed them soy cheese...it's a working progress there. And as far as eggs go, we don't eat eggs like scrambled (eww) eggs, but we'll eat it in something...if that makes sense. We really enjoy fresh fruits and veggies of all kinds, rice milk, soy milks, that kinda stuff. And I am allergic to olives and lactose intolerant...so I personally have to go easy on the dairy. Also...I made couscous once and I truley wanted to throw-up...maybe I made it wrong? I'm not big on seasoning food...I like to taste foods as they are in their natural state...maybe I was wrong with this one though? Thank you everyone for your suggestions :D
