Veggie at Yak and Yeti?

Any veggies been to Yak and Yeti? I looked over their menu and there do not seem to be too many options for vegetarians. Are they as flexible with special dietary requests as other WDW places?

We really liked the Yak and Yeti. It was our first time eating fried green beans and they were delicious. I would give up french fries forever if I could have these green beans.

We recently noticed that our local TGI Friday's has fried green beans on the menu, so we tried them. Friday's were no where near as good as WDW.

Y&Y had a much lighter batter. We will definitely get these in the future at AK.

I'm a vegetarian too, and I have to say that I was shocked to see that a brand new restaurant (Yak and Yeti) does not have any vegetarian options, or even anything that can really be easily modified. I will not be dining there anytime soon, not until they change the menu.

I have eaten at Tusker House, and that was wonderful! So many options, for both vegetarians and meat eaters. I would go there over Yak and Yeti as well!

I too am amazed at a new Asian Flared Restaurant would be so lacking from what i have heard (and am unaware of any changes). Tusker House offers an amazing (IMO) alternative.

From looking at the menus on wdwinfo (dis) and allears, YES. Even Le Cellier Steakhouse has an amazing-sounded veggie option (or two?). It's crazy that this place doesn't. I've also read that the Chinese restaurants in Epcot don't have anything not made in meat stock or fish sauce as well. Guess they don't get much call for Buddha Platters at those restaurants (unlike real Chinese-American restaurants)!
