I just checked the menus on the SeaWorld site and it didn't seem like there was a good restaurant for our vegetarian family to eat at other than for cheese pizza. Help!! 2 adults, 3 kids.

Are you wanting table service? Or do you prefer counter service? Price range?

Hmmmmm :scratchin. That's a good question. I travel with two "meatatarians" so I must admit I haven't taken much note of the other end of the spectrum!

For sides, you will have lots to choose from. Side salads, fruit cups, pickles, fries, etc. are all in abundance. And that cheese pizza you have already noted.

Seafire Inn has pasta dishes.....I would guess getting one without chicken (fettuccini alfredo, for example) would be fairly easy to do.

I know that wraps are available at certain locations as well. Hopefully someone else will know if any of them come without meat.

Just pulled these off the SW website.

Expedition Cafe:
Asian Region - side dishes for rice/noodles
Italian Region - spaghetti and meatball platter (I'm sure you could get it without meatballs), garden lasagna
Grab N Go - Asian "Freshie" salad, side salad, oriental veggie wrap

Mango Joe's:
Mango fruit salad or garden burger

Seafire Inn:
pastas and assorted sauces, mediterranean veggie wrap, chicken caesar salad (again you can probably get it without meat)

Seaport Pizza:
cheese or veggie pizza

Spice Mill:
vegetable chili, caesar salad, garden burger

Terrage Garden Buffett:
pizza and pasta buffett

So there are choices, but not if you're wanting to spend 5 days there and never eat the same thing twice :) Kids tend to have mac and cheese available at each place unless they will just munch off your plates for stuff, or if they want to eat an adult side dish as a main meal. Anywhere that offers sandwich type foods might be able to make a grilled cheese if you ask.

Seafire inn had some good non meat choices. I remember some veggie wraps and pasta choices.

I think I recall a veggie burger at spice mill

Voyagers would be one to avoid since its all bbq.

The seaport pizza is a nice stop for pizza and sides.

The terrace buffet is pizza and pasta

Mango joes I believe had some stuff.

When you go to the restaurants there is a brochure about people with special diets. My friend got one and there was info about them making stuff if you ask.

I've never seen expedition cafe. Where is that at?? I thought it was a BG place.

I was confused at first too...but I think it might be part of the new Antarctica exhibit.

It is. I haven't eaten at it before, because I haven't been since Antarctica opened. I was trying to figure out where the food place inside Wild Arctic was until I read the description of where it was.

Ok that makes sense. I haven't been since they opened it too. Thanks for the info.
