I am a new veggie (as Dh calls me) do you call the restuarants and make a note of it or just tell your server and hope they can whip something up?

We are eating at the following dinner if you have any experience you could share with me? (No fish, seafood, or mushrooms, other wise I will try anything.) Thanks

My daughter and I are both vegetarian. On our last trip we ate at 1900 Park Fair. It was our favorite meal of the trip. Lots of options.

I'm sorry I can't help you with the others, but I know there is someone here who can.

We have just told the server when we showed up, but we don't do a lot of table service restaurants, and I tend to pick them based on the vegetarian options they have (check out allearsnet.com for the menu lists).

Now we did talk to the Hoop Dee Doo Review people ahead of time and the Poly Luau because they have to make up a special meal ahead of time.

When you make your ADRs maybe mention it to the person you are talking to so they can give you the phone number.

But most places just have a veggie option on the menu. That is one of the reasons we love vacationing at WDW!

I've been a vegetarian (no meat, poultry or seafood) forever, and have never had a problem at WDW. Coral Reef had something really good (can't remember what it was, but I love Coral Reef for the atmosphere), haven't been to Le Cellier yet, but checked their menu at allears and was drooling over whatever the vegetarian option was (I only hope they haven't changed the menu). Even places that didn't seem to have anything vegetarian on the menu (San Angel Inn) had a separate vegetarian menu.

Like the pp said, the only place you might be disappointed are the dinner shows or family-style meals. I've been to both the Hoop de doo Revue and the revolving restaurant in the Land at Epcot. Neither time did I mention ahead of time that I was a vegetarian, and both times I was able to get a pasta with marinara sauce. Not great food, but at least I had something to eat besides bread! Since you're doing Ohana for breakfast, I can't imagine it would be a problem, but I'd still recommend checking out the menus at www.allearsnet.com. They have virtually every restaurant in WDW, including counter service places. Good luck, and eat well!

I just looked at the buffet menus for Biergarten and the Clambake, and although they're a little heavy on the meats (Biergarten) and seafood (Clambake), it looks like they have plenty of salads, sides and a pasta at each.

Plus, I always manage to make up for what I don't eat from the meat at the dessert part of the buffet. Mmm. . . dessert.
