My boyfriend and I are both pretty picky eaters, I'm a vegetarian and my boyfriend is, well, the opposite. He hates most vegetables and loves most meat. Can anyone think of some good restaurants where there would be something we'd both enjoy? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
I know this situation all too well. I am also a vegetarian and my husband is a big meat eater.

I can suggest a few restaurants we like to visit each trip..
Boma is excellent! He always is able to load up on plenty of meat and desserts while I have no trouble finding tasty things to eat such as hummus, vegetable skewers and soup. If either of you dislikes spices, this might not be the restaurant for you.
The Kona Cafe used to be extremely vegetarian and vegan friendly, however, this is changed in the past two years or so. But I am told that if you ask about a vegetarian meal they are happy to help. I was really sad when they changed the menu.
Another restaurant we love is the Liberty Tree Tavern. If you go during lunch you have a totally different menu with individual items rather than the set menu they have for dinner. However, I have never had any problems with dinner. Last year for dinner I was served a a dish called the Amber Waves of Grain which is a sauteed vegetable over grains with an herb coulis. It was good, but I found myself eating more of the salad and mashed potatoes my husband was served. I've read that the vegetarian meal has been changed this year, though. I think I remember it saying it was a noodle bowl.
As for Epcot, I've never had problems finding tasty food. Marraskesh is one our favorite restaurants to visit. I love the vegetable couscous while my husband is a big fan of the beef kebabs. We also love Biergarten. I have never had any trouble finding things to eat here.
I think the best advice I can offer is to check out the menus of all the restaurants you might be interested in. Only you and your boyfriend know exactly what you like to eat. I will say that Disney has always been very friendly and helpful when it comes to helping me find things to eat. Several times chefs have come to our tables to discuss my diet. I've also had two walk me along the buffet lines pointing out which foods were vegetarian and vegan!
You'll be just fine! Enjoy your trip!
