Please be careful when opening your steamer after it's finished. That steam is hot.

BTW, any suggestions about what to put on a steam burn? It does hurt like the devil!

I get these all the time it seems! (I don't heed warnings. I am also a too swift pot lid lifter. )

A little Neosporin with Pain Relief works for me.

Thanks--my brain was yelling "don't do it" but my hand didn't want to listen. Lucky it's so cold here I've been putting my hand on the door. I think there may be some Neosporin around the house somewhere. Thanks!

Poor you! Burns are so painfull. You can take oral pain meds too (tylenol, ibuprofen).
