Vegas Trip ~ November '09 (It's over, but we had a blast!)

Whooo hooo!!! That calls for a drink on me! ;) :cool1:  :thumbsup2

That is one of my faves!!!

I am still waiting to see my schedule for November. I will know more then.
I am probably not going to commit to any shows until I have a real idea of when I will be going.

Don't plan on me for anything on Friday night. But, I do still plan to do everything that I'm signed up for Saturday night and dinner on Sunday.
OKie doke. Sounds good. Thanks for checking in. :thumbsup2

Are we still doing OG on Friday night? If so, I am fine with just doing that. I will do dinner if we are doing dinner as a group, but am more that happy to just hang out and relax until OG later that night. Seen Chippendales enough don't need to do that again. And I am not really wanting to see Gordie. Ive heard he is excellent though.
Yes. OG is on for Friday night after Chippendales. So we can all meet for dinner. (still need a place for that)
Then split for the shows or what not, and then meet again for OG. :thumbsup2

OKay, sounds good. Thanks for checking in. I don't think we are buying any tickets just yet anyway, so just let us know once you find out your schedule. :)

I looked at my frequent flyer miles today and it looks like if I wait until after my two September trips I may have enough miles to get a free ticket in November. (Looks like it's working out great for me to go twice in September):banana:So, I am going to wait to buy my tickets. I'm not going to commit to an arrival time, either wed, thurs or fri morning until then.

OK, assuming I'm there the day you go to these places, then count me in!

  • Outlet shopping/lunch
  • Wolfgang Puck dinner (maybe)
  • Kahunaville
  • Dick's Last Resort lunch
  • Burger Bar dinner

Well, I AM in Vegas, and I spent the evening baking banana bread and watching the Hannah Montana movie with my girls. Really wild, eh? ;)

Ah, but it was actually a lot of fun and a really nice night. :goodvibes Can't be a party every night I guess. lol

OK--so it looks like that it's just me Linda and my Mom for Gordie Brown? I want to go ahead and order tix.

Cheryl, looks that way so far. Myself, Marcie and Theresa will be at Chippendales. Stacie and Wendy (if she's already arrived) won't be seeing any shows that night. And Deb won't know her schedule until closer to the trip.

So if you want to order tix I'd go ahead and get them for you three. :thumbsup2

Cheryl, what time does Gordie start? Or rather what time do you have to be in your seats?

We have to be at Chippendales between 7:15 and 7:20. Depending on what time your show is, maybe we can all meet up for a dinner someplace.

Anyone have some place in particular they'd like to go to?

We are already doing group meals at Dick's, Wolfgang and Burger Bar. Maybe someplace on the fun side, not too fancy or expensive? Anyone interested in Serendipity 3 again? Or something along those lines? Let's hear some suggestions. :yay:

Actually since the show is downtown I thought I was going to suggest to Linda that the three of us have dinner down there. It's not easy to move around with my Mom.

Ill do dinner with you guys before your show. The rub was yummy when we were there last time. Or maybe we can eat someplace off the strip.

Cool. :thumbsup2
RUB was good. But I'm open to anything.

Ever heard of Bahama Breeze? http://www.bahamabreeze.com/
That's where I ate with Jane, Amy and Michelle when she was in town. It was my first time there, but I really liked it. It's off strip, but not far, on Flamingo.

We could try there, as long as we went early enough to still make our 7:30 show.

Just a thought. You all know me, as long as it's not steak or seafood, I'm so there!!!

Another thought would be Pink Taco over at the Hard Rock hotel. Good Mexican food. OH, and the Hard Rock is opening a new cafe right on the Strip this month. That could be an option for Friday dinner too.

It's up to ya'll.

Bahama Breeze looks yummy. Especially the updside down chocolate cake dessert!!!
