I just had a thought, i will have no telling how many pieces of luggage with me going to eat brunch at the Rio.

Okay, I think I'm caught up!

Got my nails done yesterday, and went with the color Dawn said, metallic purple!! Looks great!!

And got my haircut, and she thinned it out, it was just too much hair for the summer.

Doing laundry so I can start packing. I had to take my suitcase in to be repaired on Monday, one of the "legs" was loose and turns out the fasteners on the inside were gone. It's going to cost $5!! Big deal!!

In 4 days and 2 hours, I'll be there!!!

I just got home from getting my stitches out. I am on antibiotics for a potential infection for a few days. No more crutches!! YAY!!

Now I am off to have some yummy Mexican food with Val.
Then a I am getting a pedi. Its a darkish purple color I think that I am getting. Then at 4 I am getting my hair done!!!

My new neighbors are odd....they keep asking Laramie & I if we want to buy Foodstamps? or if we knew if Costco takes foodstamps?? Or the Schwans guy???? hmmm...I have no clue....Strange...just strange.....

I just started making Taco Soup for dinner. It smells so yummy!!

i'm sad today.. bob left until sunday.. then i leave monday morning and am gone for a week.. so i won't get to see him for days and days.

Empty nest sucks.. the house seems so empty, i'm always used to it being filled with family.

I'll have lunch with my parents on friday. So that's good. hhmmmm...

Have i whined enough?

I've never even heard that song. What's the hidden meaning or whatever behind it?

I've decided that I might just carry my new heels in my purse, and whenever we sit or take pictures I'll take them out and put them on.

Now that sounds like a plan.

I didn't know they made a DVD.... I'll have to look into it, thanks. I have no problem with exotic dancers, it's their choice, and yes they have mucho hidden strength! To dangle upside down on a pole in a "look ma, no hands" fashion, takes some butt whoopin' thighs!

If I have to go on another vacation and eat once a day i will have a nervous breakdown. I like food.

That's good news about the crutches! I hope you don't end up with an infection though. Take those meds. And enjoy lunch.

I've been trying to think which grocery store to go to on Sunday after Stacie gets in, but I can't think of a good one near the Strip.

The Strip itself is nice, and the neighborhoods farther away from the Strip (like where Jane, Amy and I live) are nice.
But the immediate surroundings once you get off the Strip are so scuzzy. I can't imagine shopping in one of those stores. It gives me the creeps.

I just snuck out for a manicure and a facial, so I'm good to go now. Had my hair cut and color (can I just say that I LOVE the color of my hair????! I got it a bit darker, almost my natural shade, but with really rich auburn highlights. Love it!!), pedicure, now I'm done. I wanna go NOW!!!

Dawn, don't be too sad, 'K??? Pretty soon we'll be having a week long girlie party time Plus you'll have a whole day to watch TV or whatever you want before you leave

Crazy day here today though - it's Jesse's hockey party (which I'm organizing and setting up, etc.), so lots to do. But I HAD to make time to look good

I hate when that happens! And can I just say--dog farts are the worst. Cats don't do that--at least mine don't.

I gave Bella some rice from my lunch (mixed with her dry food) now she's walking around the office with her dish in her mouth (like Snoopy). Now she's running around like a crazy dog. Now she's . . .. (can you tell she is high energy?)

I told her to enjoy it while she can--because next week she's with Grandma! (Of course, she might like that.) I can't imagine how spoiled she's going to be when I get home.

They say that is really moisturizing. Some cultures use it all the time.

No, it didn't go squishy between my toes, thank goodness.

I don't recommend anyone using it as a moisturizer though.

Jeri just brought us all to the aiport. She's my bff, but does not do amusement parks. She was really sad she didn't go with us though, so that's what she gets for not going haha.
