have booked dlp via disney website inc flights. Have received plane tickets and park tickets via email, but there s no mention of the vea shuttle.. which was supposed to be included in the package?! anyone have any ideas as to when we receive those?

Hm, when we went last November, an Italian family stood in the VEA shuttle saying, that they paid all (incl. VEA tickets) via a travel agency. The only "proof" they had, however, was the booking confirmation of the whole package. After 17 minutes of discussion (we really started to get angry  ) the bus driver told them that he is not allowed to take them with him without the tickets (which hadn't been given obviously). So they had to pay the whole VEA tickets prices again :confused3

Please make sure, that you have your tickets ready - and not only the confirmation! Contact Disney and ask for them.

I was wondering about this too.
Do you get real tickets through the post or are they emailed?
When do you normally receive them?

I booked everything direct with Disney and got email confirmation of booking, hotel, flights and meals. The VEA tickets arrived by post a couple of weeks before we were due to go. There was a warning that we would have to have the tickets to board the bus. We got the return tickets when we checked in to the hotel. HTH.:)

I booked my trip through First Choice who then booked direct with Disney.
I received my e-ticket for my flight through the post about 2 weeks before i travelled but there was no sign of my VEA tickets.
I rang First Choice who contacted Disney and they were told that they are sent out seperate, not to panic and that i would receive them.
About a week before i was due to travel my VEA tickets arrived by post.

just to let everyone know..i got the tickets through the post today..it was 2 actuall tickets and 2 "children go free " vouchers..excellent..
cant wait ...
does any one know how long it takes to go from cdg to santa fe..and vice versa.. our flight back is at 6pm i think check in is reccomended at 2hrs before.. just want to know the latest time i can set off from disney to catch the plane, just to maximise our disney time :hyper: do anyone think 4pm is cutting it fine?

is the VEA terminal well signposted in terminal 2 e?

I'm glad your tickets arrived ok :thumbsup2

I flew into 2e with Air France and had a bit of a nightmare to be honest. First off we had to get on a train one stop in order to collect our bags. I wasn't expecting it and it was only because i was following someone else who was on our plane did i know where to go.

Once through i had no idea where to get the VEA and it was not well signposted at all. There was nobody to ask and i ended up walking round for a good 10 mins completely lost.
In the end i found a set of glass double doors that led outside and had the words VEA next to them. Thankfully this was right.

Do you mean leave Santa fe at 4pm? if you do that's way too late in my opinion. The journey time from and to the airport is around an hour, sometimes longer in heavy traffic. I would say you need to be leaving around 2.30-2.45 just to make sure you get there for your 2 hours before.

so the baggage collection area in cdg terminal2 is so far away you have to get a train!! not good.

ioll try and find some maps for cdg airport

Hi, our flight was at 16.05 and we caught the VEA at 12.30 from the hotel. On check-in we were told to catch the VEA 3 and a half hours before the flight. With finding our way around, checking in, getting through security and finding our gate, I would say we had about 40 minutes in which we had a drink/snack before our flight started boarding. The VEA leaves every 45 mins and we had considered catching the 13.15 bus, but I'm glad we didn't as I am one of life's worriers.

When we arrived at CDG, we found the VEA quite easily but I don't know which terminal we arrived at. There were big signs for DLRP and VEA and we just kept asking in broken French.

The VEA takes about 40-45 minutes to get to the Santa Fe from CDG, but thats only once you have actually left the airport - we arrive at terminal 1 CDG, and thats usually the VEA's first pick-up, so we usually have at least 15 minutes on the VEA while it picks up at the other 2 terminals, before leaving the airport.

So figure around one hour to get from the airport, and one hour back again.

I also think getting the 4pm VEA for a 6pm flight departure is too late. You'd really need to get a 3pm one or thereabouts.

We usually get the TGV train back from DLRP to CDG - that journey only takes 10 minutes, so does give us a good hour extra at the parks before we have to start the journey home.

But, if you already have your return VEA tickets, I do think you need to get a 3pmish VEA for your flight.
