VDH Questions for Purchasing

I’m should bring a few sliders to moonlight magic DCA. Have the DVC cruise ones too. They start to add up and gets difficult deciding which one to wear.

They give them out on the member cruises?

Yeah…odds they won’t. But errors can happen. These VHD deeds are filed in California. Might want peace of mind.

They give them out on any cruise if you stop by the DVC desk, from what I've seen.

They are usually available on any cruise as a DVC member. They give out daily trinkets each day & will even get a DVC door magnet. They know you are a member on board!

To add: each cruise will have a member meet up scheduled. Free leaded & unleaded drinks!

Ohhh this was before I was a dvc member so they weren't delivering anything to my room. Do u think the gifts on tne member cruise will be better? I heard about the member meet up nice that they do something for us!

Oh yeah..the member cruise give daily gifts to room. The member 4 night cruise we took on the Wish, they bundled all the gifts in one delivery. (Be sure to have extra suitcase space on those cruises!).

They've only given me lithographs

They have given me chapstick and something else... before I had any DVC points. I turned down the magic band slider because it didn't make sense to have it when I wasn't even a DVC member. Of course, NOW I wish I had grabbed it.

Yes; each contract was $80; I got it on all three.

Sure the gifts are part of it but it’s a chartered cruise where they set up different entertainment, celebrities on board. Daily events specific to DVC. (You experience all that is on a regular Disney cruise but it’s upgraded).

Ive been on the wonder a lot, I was a little disappointed to see it was on that one but makes sense because san d is the cruise port so I figured. I wouldnt go if it was a normal cruise however this seems to me like kind of a d23 at sea on a smaller scale so im very interested. Does the boat get as full as a normal cruise?

I'm so confused by the 7 day thing. So when we were at Disneyland, we got a tour of VDH. And the guide emailed us the sheet that listed the prices with incentives (the one that gets posted here on the dis.) So does that mean since I didn't purchase within a week....I'm not longer eligible this incentive cycle? That's weird.



Exact amount of years I've been alive! Ha! We're celebrating our 20th in June. My husband proposed to me at Disneyland back in 2005.

Congrats! 20 is great in this day and age! Of course proposing at Disneyland means you have a keeper!

Ok, I just got caught up on like 10 pages. lol

1st. I agree 3x50 is the way to go (i definitely would)

2nd. What is a slider?? Do they help keep your Magicband from falling off? If so, I need one badly, I lost one of my bands very early in the day on RockinRoller Coaster, they did end up finding it and mailed it back to my house a week after the trip, so i had to buy another for the rest of my trip.


Also, just wanted to add, this thread has got me thinking about adding like 55 Direct VDH. lol
