VDH Questions for Purchasing

https://www.dvcresalemarket.com/buying/annual-dues/

On the dues and SAP+ points, I will just note that VDH's dues increases have been on the higher side compared to PVB. The 2025 to 2026 increase was 7.2%, and the compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) since VDH opened is 5.2%. OTOH, PVB had a 5.14% increase this past year and has had a CAGR of 3.1%.

Of course, no one knows whether those trends will continue but, if they do, the gap between the dues at both resorts will increase. That's why I'd personally pick PVB over VDH for SAP+, but the more you plan to actually use your points at VDH, the more VDH will win out.
I love you man, but we all need to get behind VDH now because I can't take any more drama.

I do think Poly makes more sense overall for someone who rarely goes to DLR. I strongly considered Poly because I was anti-VDH in the beginning, even after staying there. But in the end when one wants to visit DLR more than WDW VDH makes more sense. Which I know is what you also eluded to. Fingers crossed the increase % trends down.

They should do that if they want to sell more. The Disneyland hotel should be selling like hotcakes

This is really the deciding factor IMO. Will you use this points more often for DLR or WDW? If DLR, VDH all the way. If WDW, PVB may be the better choice. Of course, 40-48 years is a long time, so is one a better bet than the other for SAP+ over all those years? Bring out the crystal ball.

I think that means, you probably can't go wrong either way here, @Girlstar30.
