Can anyone tell me which is more preferable at Vero Beach and why

A Deluxe Inn room (ocean view)

or a

Studio (view not specified)

The points are the same, and both have kitchenettes-. :confused3

TIA

Ocean View Inn rooms give you a definite ocean view and two queen beds. Studios have one queen, one sofa bed and no guaranteed view. I always choose the ocean view room because of the view.

I don't know about square footage, but there probably is a post somewhere regarding this. Some people just prefer to have the studio setup with the sofa so it's more like living quarters rather than just a bedroom. You have the same size kitchenette, but some units are different sizes depending on location (such as corner rooms). Last March I had a corner inn room on the 4th floor by the pool. I had a side window which faced the pool as well as the ocean view balcony. That room was huge! I am going again in Mid-March and have reserved an ocean view inn room again.

Last time I checked the points for a garden view and an ocean view inn room were NOT the same. There wasn't a huge difference, but there was a difference.

We always get the ocean view and ask for a higher floor.. nothing beats that morning coffee while watching a sunrise on the atlantic. :sunny:

That's very true. However, the OP is asking about a studio (those are in the villa buildings, not the mian building). Studios are the same points as an ocean view Inn room.

Couldn't agree more!

Best wishes -

Another benefit to having the OVIR is that you are in the same building with the Green Cabin Room and the restaurants. We liked being in the Inn; however, the resort is quite compact, so you're never very far from the Inn.

As has been touched on it really depends on the make up/expectations of the group.

An Inn room has two proper beds (a benefit if your group has 3 or more people), you don't have to leave the main building to get back to your room ( a benefit if you have kids that are old enough to be trusted to watch the videos in reception while you relax in the Green room) if you visit the bars or restaurants and the view is likely to be better from the Inn Room.

The studio's set up (one bed one sofabed) may work better for a single or couple as it gives you more floor space and having the sofa is a nice option. While it's never possible to guarantee quiet neighbours, the studios should be quieter as you shouldn't get as much through traffic from guests walking along a corridor.

Either are a good choice, it's up to the individual (or group) as to which is the more suitable for them.
