has anyone stayed here? Did you like it? We have just booked it and would love some feed back.

in a 2 br unit. I think one was in building 9 and one in building 11. The units are extremely clean and in great shape (some are almost brand new). We enjoyed it very much. The pools are in the center of the buildings, so they are a bit shaded - but nothing to complain about. We had both the A and B units off a common foyer. The resort provides doorstops so you can leave the A and B unit doors open and just lock the main foyer door. Both had full size refrigerators and stackable washers and dryers. The location is convenient too - very close to Disney.
A few tips: rooms facing the pool in the bottom floors can be a bit noisy, and rooms up high on the building exterior seem to get some light from large spotlights on adjacent buildings. I prefer the pool view myself up a bit higher.

Any specific questions, feel free to ask!

stayed there not long ago.

the villa are lovely. but I got a parking lot view.

all the building have elevators.

no restuarant or food court on property and the Wendy's nearby that you could walk too was closed.

they have a free bus to take you to Publix, walgreen, old towne and a few other places that I don't remember.

very close (walking distance) to Arabrian Horse Show - so make arrangement to go see it - if you can.

Thanks for the replies, I have one other question...do they have buses that take you to the parks? thanks

yes they do - but there is a fee.

if you stay offsite - try to get a rental car. It will make your trips so much more fun.

Are you staying in a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom unit. If you are in a 1-bedroom, you need to stay in the 'A' unit as it has the complete kitchen, whirlpool tub (although I don't like the placement in the middle of the bedroom), washer/dryer, etc. whereas the 'B' unit doesn't include a complete kitchen (no dishwasher, hotplate instead of a stove) and doesn't include a washer/dryer (there are reports that some 'B' units do have a washer/dryer but it isn't something that Vacation Village says is in the 'B' units). I will admit that this isn't my favorite resort but many of my problems reside with management.

I stayed there this past May. As others have said, rooms are very clean, well appointed. We had an "A" unit, not sure if anybody else had the "B" (smaller) until while we were there.

It's an easy drive to/from Disney parks. Unlike other trips, we spent very little time at this resort so I can't tell you about the pool or other amenities. My biggest complaint was the parking. Depending upon what building you are in, when coming back late from the parks, it was difficult to find parking. My other complaint was that the first room they put us in was all the way at the end of the hallway, yet too high up to take advantage of the stairwell right there. With two small children, it was too far to walk at end of night etc. They did move us to a room on the first floor of a different bldg. that was easily accessible via the stairwell door which made it much easier to get in/out, even when we had to park further away in the parking garage.

I've stayed at lots of resorts in the area and it was okay for the type of trip we took and for booking so late. I doubt I'd stay there again, though.
