Vapes or E-Cigarettes Allowed in Parks

So my hubby has been trying to quit smoking and is almost there, however, now he uses vapes or e-cigarettes (that is needs to quit too) I know there are smoking areas outside the parks, which he is fine with, but wasn’t sure if his vape or e-cigarette would set off Disney’s new medal detectors. If they do get set off, will they take it or think he has something with THC? I have heard of there being issues with that in the past. I just don’t want him to get there and then have a problem. TIA!

Edited: They are considered to be the same as smoking a traditional cigarette by Disney policy....so he can have them.

My boyfriend vapes and he brought it with him into the parks.

You can have them on your person, but you can not vape in the parks. Have a fun trip.

Sure you can carry your vape, you just have to check it at metal detector. There are so many vapers out there.... they see all kinds of apparatus coming through regularly. I've been bringing mine for at least fours years now!
