I found this recipe online...and it sounds very good. However, can someone tell me if this is served piping hot? Is the sauce runny or fairly thick?

Thanks!!! :)

It was warm...not hot and it was dry and spongy with chocolate sauce.

I have made this, quite recently to tell the truth. I served it warm without thw sauce, as it was pretty rich without it. Not piping hot.

Also, I didn't use as much cinnamon, as the recipe seemed to call for a little bit too much to me.

Hope this helps:thumbsup2 !!

did you ever make it with the sauce? If so, is the sauce thick?

I am so confused then...the recipe makes it sound like the sauce is mixed and then stored in the fridge...I keep reading it as spread onto the bread, as opposed to drizzled. That's why I keep thinking it is a thick sauce. :confused3

I didn't store it in the fridge at all. I guess you could do that and let it harden/thicken up. I also don't personally care for Bailey's, so I didn't use it. DH liked it, but not enough to smother it.

The recipe is very good, I think you will like it. We did. ;)
