My Dh and I drove from Ft. Worth with 2 little ones. Not bad at all. We are driving again next year. We were not in the best position to go either but we went and it was priceless. What better time for a vacation than when life is throwing you curves.

There is so much to be thankful for and the smiles on your kids faces and gratitude.

OH, OH, OH..I CAN HELP...with the traveling bingo game. I found one at an Oakridge Smokehouse in Schulenberg, TX on my way back from Houston. We're also driving next month (wow - "Next month" - that felt good to write!) and I've been buying little things for the kids for the trip. Also, you might be able to find the bingo game at a Cracker Barrel. They have great travel games and had them featured up front all last month. (There's one close to my work and I love the salads there!)

Good luck on your trip. We just bought a new mini-van and we're looking forward to our drive. I may feel a little differently about it before we hit the TX/LA state line, though.
