Vancouver Departure Question

Early. We were in the taxi line around 9:30/9:45 and porters were taking luggage for the next Disney cruise. Probably earlier than that.

If you want to do Flyover Canada or something like that, they should be able to take it around 9:30-9:45 as the PP indicated. However, I wouldn't actually arrive earlier than 10 to actually check in. You'll just have a lot of waiting around. (I know from experience. We arrived at 10 AM.)

Check with your hotel. We stayed across the street from the dock and the hotel bellhops would take them over in the morning for a fee. We, however, walked them over near our check-in time. The levels of the dock/port can be confusing with a hotel on top, then several cruise line check-ins and lower parking...some restricted. If you are driving, reserve your parking on line in advance. Be careful because 2-3 ships may be boarding/unloading at once. We did this cruise last June. Be sure to take a camera and practice your "ooohhs" and "aaahhs."

A lot of hotels will let you check your back at the front desk for either a small fee or for free. Most of the ones with small fees if close enough to the port will as GPaLarry said bring it over to the port for you. If your just hoping to dump the bags so you don't have to lug them around, the Port of Vancouver starts accepting them between 10:00am - 10:30am Baggage info found here (https://www.portvancouver.com/cruise/passenger-information/) You can store them at the Port of Vancouver Canada Place or even have them transferred from YVR airport via CDS Baggage. http://www.cdsbaggage.ca
