Greetings from the wonderful Disney Wonder - never knew you could use the word wonder in so many different ways!

We are having a blast and are enjoying our time on board (may I add that we are already rebooked for a back to back for next summer? But by now you should know me and this should NOT be a surprise for you! )

Lots to report when we get back on dry land - because the internet here is slooooooooooooow and EXPENSIVE!!

I love all the mini updates. You look like you are haivng a ball. I have never been to a WDW water park either. They look fun, but I'm not much of a slide girl myself!

Good morning!
Yesterday morning we sadly had to leave the wonderful Disney Wonder! No, I am not as creative with wonderful words like some of the wonderful people on here or on board the wonderful Disney Wonder, but I was just able to use the wonderful word WONDER a wonderous 9 times in 2 sentences! Wonderful isn't it!
Yes, it is catchy!

Here are a few impressions of the first one of our back to back cruises!

arriving at the port

a surprise from DCL (Castaway Club gift filled with goodies )

and a surprise from Mary Ellen and Joe! YUMMY!!

a drink to start off the fun

dinner

and a towel animal from Arturo the stateroom host!

arriving at Nassau

an excursion

and getting back home again

a little native drink and cake, soaked in that same drink - gets you into the spirit .............

the crew pool and hidden mickey as seen from above

just before leaving Nassau harbour

meeting a friend on deck 10 and lots of envious stares from the Carnival ship docked right opposite the wonderful Disney Wonder

Dinner at Palo

followed by the pirate party and fireworks on the high seas! only Disney is allowed to do that, so watch out for cruiseships "parked" around the Wonder!

and being castaway at Castaway Cay - the best part of every wonderful Wonder cruise!

Castaway Cay is paradise!

And we were lucky ......... NO rough seas for us! There is always some rocking when crossing the Florida Straight (spelling?) but apart from that we were in for mostly VERY smooth sailing!

we have not been online much lately, so it completely slipped my mind that Mark's surgery is today! Sorry!

Tom and I are sending lots of pixie dust and keeping our fingers crossed everything goes well! Thinking of you!!
