Value Resort pricing

We are flying into Orlando on May 1st for 2 nights at WDW before we board The Magic on May 3, 2015.
I am waiting for the value resorts to drop their price before I book. Does anyone know when that generally happens?

I'm going in late April next year, and after looking at the historical discounts on Mousesavers, it looks like discounts for that period usually come out shortly after the first of the year (early Jan). No guarantee of what they'll offer, of course, and it will vary by resort and room category.

In general, I have found the best rates on hotels about 3 months before staying.

I would just book now and then apply a discount if one comes out.

Or better yet, just get a travel agent so they can do it for you. There's no reason to keep checking every day.
