value rates

If we book a trip that begins during value season but 1-2 days in, it becomes regular season, does our rate go up....or is it based on the date of arrival???

Your rate is based on the "season" rate when you check in. Ex. if you check in during value season and two days later it becomes regular season, you are charged the value rate. The opposite applies also -- if you check in during peak season and a day or so into you trip it becomes value season, you are still charged peak rates unless you "divide" the reservation.
