Value of loaded contracts vs stripped.

Which brokers are those, if they can be mentioned here? I'd like to know where I can more safely rent my points when needed. I've only used David's previously, and I'm not a fan of their new owners contract.

There is one that advertises heavily on this forum. For the record, I've never used this service so can't really offer an opinion on it.

Google is your friend here for that info.....

We are also looking for a contract and I can’t decide stripped or loaded. I’m thinking we’re not going to be able to get a trip in before we cruise next June because of all the cancellations. But I sure would love to! I’m itching to have points ASAP even though that doesn’t make much sense since we likely won’t be able to use them. There’s going to be crazy demand, I assume.

You didn't indicate what UY you are looking at, but that can be a factor. If you have 2020 points that you pay $7-8 PP for MF's that can be banked into 2021 with an expiration date in 2022 that is a great deal. I just bought an add on this week with 100 20 and 100 21 points that we will use next fall.

When your points hit your contract, make your reservation immediately at your home resort (11-7 months) and take anything you can find. At 7 months, if you desire, you can switch it out for another resort, but at least you will have a good reservation to fall back on. The bigger resorts will have more capacity as opposed to BCV for instance. At this point you can only borrow 50% and IMO that will likely go into next year. Good luck!

I have my first offer going to ROFR - it has 2020 pts and an Aug UY. With summer being our least likely time to visit, an Aug or Sept UY seemed best. Plus, having a closing near the start of the UY (fingers crossed here) should give me time to bank points if I decide that a covid influenced spring 2021 trip is a poor idea...
