Value into Regular season rates

I just put dates into the Disney site for Oct. 1 thru the 7th, which means the first four days are value season rate, and the last three are regular season. However, it came back with a price that was consistent with all 7 days at value rate. While this makes me happy, it also makes me wonder if it's true. I'll contact my travel agent for a quote anyway, but I thought I'd check to see if anyone's had a similar situation.

Yes. For a regular hotel room, whatever season you "check in" at, you get the rate through your whole stay. So if you check in during holiday season, and check out during value season, you get charged the holiday season rate for the entire stay.
