Valet - Relative Worth at BLT?

We have used valet parking on our previous Disney vacations and enjoyed the convenience that if offered as an extra "we're on vacation, a little pampering is nice".

However, we leave next week for a stay at BLT and I'm wondering whether valet parking really would be "convenient" for a stay there. Do you need to pick up and drop off your car at the Contemporary and if so, would it perhaps be more convenient to park in the parking lot in front of BLT (provided that lot is easy to find a spot in).

You should be able to find a spot near to the entrance for BLT. The amount of time you'll waste walking to CR to pickup your valet-parked car will offset any advantage that is normally found in valeting.

Save your valet $$$ for when you visit other resorts for meals...

Since the valet parking lot is at the Contemporary and the valet desk itself is located there, I agree that you are better off parking in the lot closer to Bay Lake Tower.

IMO, self parking for the BLT is really convenient. In almost every case, you'd walk farther to get to your room than if you used the valet service. The only time I'd use it is if I wanted or needed help with luggage.

During our one stay at BLT we always used the lot right in front of the building. No problem whatsoever and always plenty of parking spots available.
