Valet pooling tips?

Rather than revive old threads, does anyone know if the valet CMs are pooling tips now? At the YC last month, everyone I tipped at the valet immediately appeared to drop it off on the valet stand. Not that it would change the amount for me, I was curious to see if pooling was in fact the case.

I don’t necessarily sit there and watch what they do with it every time, but I’ve seen that relatively often. I have no direct knowledge of what actually happens, but pooling of some sort seems like what may happen.

Never watched closely enough to know how that works. At places where we have done valet parking, the employees tend to return to the office to get keys or check-in the cars. Pooling makes sense since I would assume some tip far more then others and then it gets averaged out for everyone doing that job.
