Valet Perk Loss = New Elite Club?

Considering the recent survey regarding Elite membership based on the amount of points owned, here's a thought..... perhaps the free Valet perk was taken away so it can be offered as a perk to the "Elite" members?

What exactly is the Elite club? And how many points entitles you to be a member of the elite club?
