Valet Parking at WL???

Is there valet parking at WL??? If so, does it cost anything for guests staying at WL??? Is it located in the front of the hotel??

It's in teh front entry, there is a cost--$8 per day plus a tip every time you akte the vehicle in or out. If you are a DVC member (not point renter) you get free valet but still should tip.

Just in case you were confused by this post, tips are appreciated and customary, but they are not part of the charge. You are only required to pay Disney the $8.00, when and how much you choose to tip is up to you.

In addition, once you pay to valet park at one resort, you can valet park at other resorts that offer this option for that day at no extra cost (other than tip). We did this last year between AKL and WL.

To answer your questions, Yes...No...Yes. And yeah, once you pay for valet in one place, you get to valet everywhere else - except the parks, which don't offer it

Not only is it right next to the entrance, the doors to the hotel whoosh open automatically. So you pull up, hand off your keys and get inside in a matter of seconds, with no effort on your part. Kinda nice.

I see so many people come down to the valet desk and turn in their ticket to have their car brought around. You can call from your room about 5 minutes before you leave and read them the number, if you want the car waiting down there.

I give the WL valet staff a B-. They're usually a little slow. But they're nice enough!

If you don't feel like shelling out the $8 a day, the self-parking is deceptively close.

I just want to make sure I understand this....I have to pay $8 everytime I take the car from WL??? For example, if I check-in at 12:00, leave at 3:00 to DTD and come back at 7:00, I have to pay $8 both times I bring the car back to WL???

No! The valet charge is per day not per use. The gratuity is given (if you choose) each time you use the valet parking service. I tip when I drop the car off AND when I pick it up (usually $2; more if the weather is inclement).

The last three times we were at WL we used valet parking. Each time we were there for 8 days. At the end of our stay we were only charged for the days we actually had the valet retrieve our car. We did not use the car each day and we were not charged for those days our car was just sitting in the valet parking lot. The first time this happended on our bill I thought it was just a mistake. But it was the same for the next two trips as well.

I thought so, too. Our family was at CR last week and we used valet parking there. My memory is not that good, but I was fairly certain our bill showed only $7/day charge. For a minute there I thought I'd gotten some magic or a special deal!
