Valentines Day at DLP

Hi guys -
I know there are a few of us going for Valentines, Not much info has been forthcoming so if anyone has heard anything particular thats going on please post it here.
As has been rumoured, there is a special calvacade, Featuring the aristocats, going on 3 times on Valentines day!

The only other thing I have heard is that there is a valentines buffet at Inventions but with no characters! I am not sure if that can be true, I will have a look when we get there I think!

Aw, I so wish I could be there, I LOVE the Aristocats! Their appearance is long overdue IMO, after all this is Disneyland PARIS!!

The only other thing I have heard is that there is a valentines buffet at Inventions but with no characters! I am not sure if that can be true, I will have a look when we get there I think!

I'm sure last year there was a Valentine's Sunday Brunch with Princess theming - maybe if there is a buffet without characters it will be at lunchtime (but not on Sunday!).

This Sunday is Chinese new year. I'm not sure whats next sunday. Even if there was a brunch on Thursday I think we would stick with our evening at Inventions, because I want to watch the aristocats at least twice, then theres the magical moment at the DLH so will be doing a lot of character chasing that day

next Sunday 17th the brunch is the Rapunzel and Flynn one.

Oooooh do you have any info on the magical moments Cassie? I'm really not impressed with inventions reviews lately but if there's enough magic in the moment then I might book it..... Still undecided!

isn't magical moments the descent of the stairs in the DLH in the afternoons? Or have I got that completely wrong?

Yes thats what I meant, It's usually at 4pm but I'll check, last year on valentines day they had the beast and belle so it would be worth a quick peak before grabbing a place for the parade!

Been there 12 times now, and never ever been in the hotel (or any other Disney hotel actually).

Finally gonna happen next week though.

I'll second that, it really is gorgeous and one of my lasting memories of staying there

It's relatively hidden, but its to the right as you go in the right hand entrance by Salon Mickey. We walked past a few times looking for the entrance to the DLH when going into the park and guessed it must be it - theres revolving doors inside the main doors I think but no other markings - and yup it was. Be brave and try I guess they want to keep it not so obvious though!
I'll defo check out the gift shop and the bar at some point! We havn't booked any restaurants which I'm a little bit worried about but it should be fine - Hoping for Inventions for Valentines day and Wednesday is my birthday so we're thinking Cafe Mickey.
Heading off tomorrow afternoon!! So excited. I think we might do a quick PTR this evening.

We spent a whole afternoon visiting all the Disney hotels on one holiday - apart from seeing how the hotels differ I really enjoyed looking in the gift shops. I bought a lovely Buzz Lightyear toy for my nephew and my DD found a car number plate to put on her wall in the Santa Fe shop, we didn't see either of these anywhere else in the resort.

Yeah, plans are to go to the parks on the 15th, and then the next day spend a few hours just walking around The Village and visit some of the hotels, I'm very curious to see what they all look like.
I've only ever stayed at Kyriad, and that's not Disney-ish at all, lol.
