yep - other posters have suggested

*allowing us to opt out of getting a copy we don't need, or

* going back to sending new members a 3 ring binder and only mailing new point charts or information that changes each year rather than the whole thing.

those sound like good ideas to me...

I would LOVE this.

I really enjoy having the printed material because it makes it easier to go over with a group of people and sometimes I just need to look something up quick and don't want to turn the computer on.

I didn't know they had a binder system at one point but I think that's a great idea. Did the binders have the dvc logo on them? If so, and anyone wants to sell or donate theirs to me let me know!

I'm the first one to say "other", I like my book because I sometimes like to have the point charts at my fingers other times I use the ones that I have downloaded, but if my internet is acting up and I haven't downloaded that particular chart it is aggrivating!

I also like to record my reservations in the chart they give us. That way they are all in one place I still have a binder with all my trips and printouts of my airline reservations, DVC, Hilton reservations, but I like to have my points listed on a page that I write on when I talk to the DVC rep, then I can compare it to what is on the website.

I like the booklet with all the points charts, sounds like I'll need to keep last year's book because if I am going to show someone about DVC they don't have floorplans and a lot of other stuff. Now I wish I'd kept the hardbound books they sent when we joined!

We still haven't received the new book in Long Beach, CA!

I am really glad that I kept our original "Dream" book, because it is the only one that we have received that has the square footage of the villas, for a family of 5 a few feet can make a big difference!!

I use mine all the time for the points chart to dream & plan trips. It is faster for me then logging into website.

Vacation planner arrived today in Ohio. Looks like the smallest (# of pages) I've seen:confused3

We just got ours yesterday and right away my DH was looking at it and kind of deciding where he would like to go for his Birthday trip in 2012. We haven't made any plans set in stone, but he was looking into it for awhile. Me personally, I like to go on MS website and calculate my points and do everything on the internet. However, it does make a nice coffee table book :goodvibes

While I still haven't received this year's planner, I do use them to plan out trips. I like comparing different resort's points and find it easier to turn the page then get a new web page for different chart.

would LOVE to get one - but didn't get one for 09/10 and nothing has come for 10/11 yet either.......

I thought the point charts and planner were coming separately this year. I thought the point charts were supposed to be mailed out first and then the planner later. But every is getting the planner and it appears to have the point charts in it. Is that right?

Waste of paper. We should be able to opt out of receiving them.
