Vaccines - "too many too close together" is a MYTH

I hope you had the "green bag tag" to be scanned. Every fourth trip you get a $1 reward you know.
I did! I did! Well, I forgot to use it the first time :( but when the cashier found the batteries I couldn't find, I remembered! And the silly part is, I keep it on my key chain so it doesn't matter which reusable bag/s I have with me!

We don't have CVS around here so I think we should move! DH really enjoys buying things we don't need so CVS would be perfect for us! He could shop to his heart's content and then I could use the points on stuff we actually need, like soap and stuff!

Oh, and scanning the bag for a discount will really seal the deal for him! :dance3:
Yes, please, move here! We have lots! I live in the same city where I grew up, and we've had two within 3/4 of a mile of each other :confused3 since about 1970. They added another one at almost the other end of the city a few years ago, and then just in May, they added one at truly the opposite end of the city/city line/as close to me as before!

Oh, one more question about CVS - can you get vaccines there? Is that what the "V" is CVS stands for? We don't have kids, but our dog and cat will need their vaccines soon.

No. You can get Vitamins, and Vitamin water, and Value (that last one is what the "V" is for); and sometimes you can get flu shots; and some CVS stores have Minute Clinics for minor medical issues when you can't see a doctor; and VO5 hair products; and I'm sure many other items that start with "V" - but no vaccinations

WRONG!!!! (sort of)

If the CVS has a minute clinic you can flu shots (does that count as a vaccination?). Also, some CVS pharmacists are trained to give flu shots even if the store doesn't have a Minute clinic.

Well, I said no before (nobody LISTENS to me!!) but thinking about it... yes, absolutely! They would be VACCINATING against influenza!!!!

Of course no one listens to you. However, I do READ what you type.

Katiee? (In my best "ghost whisperer" translation)

JOCAmom says she loves you, misses you, and wants to give you some pimentos or some olives or something. Nothing involving HFCS of course.

How'd I do? (I think you have to watch that show to understand the transferring message thing. It's like the writers act like it's a game of "operator" or something) :rotfl:
I think you are really coming along in your translations! This one is excellent.:thumbsup2
okay...RUM for everyone!

I'm still trying to imagine the concequences of planting french fries next to corn!

since I deep fry with peanut oil, could you plant french fries next to peanuts, and they would fry themselves in the sun?
Oooh, time savings! I wonder if you could make Rum Fries??

So, what are the C and the S for? I have always wondered that. :surfweb: Yes, yes. I do need to get a life.
Totally ****ing gross. :sad2:

Way to spend a holiday weekend. Glad you guys are enjoying yourself.
What on earth is gross about any of these posts? If a good way to spend a holiday weekend is being silly and chuckling about things, then count me in. There is no particular issue or person being picked on here. Heck, I made fun of MYSELF.

Candy and Soda? Cookies and Snacks? Cards and Seasonal (and can somebody PLEASE tell me WHY I can NOT find a disposable grill anywhere so I can burn those hot dogs)???? Consumer and Stores? Dingdingdingdingding - I think we have a winner!

If a baby is born at 44 weeks gestation, should he get his 4 week shots at birth?

If a baby is born at 44 weeks gestation, should he get his 4 week shots at birth?

I will have to contemplate this question. There are a lot of factors to figure in before answering.

Was the child ripped from your womb too early at 44 weeks to be born in a hot tub of fecal matter floating near the drain or was it pulled from your womb by the evils of western medical doctors?

Let me ponder this for a while. I'll get back to you.

If a baby is born at 44 weeks gestation, should he get his 4 week shots at birth?

Well, that question is pointless, because babies shouldn't be getting their shots, period. :snooty: Especially babies born at 44 weeks, that is FAR too premature. Their poor immune systems would probably explode if they received their shots.

corn & syrup? I'm sure of it! there is HFCS in vaccines?! I'm sure this is what CVS is telling us!

/ There should be no vaccinations EVER! They are bad, they're full of HFCS!!!

No, he or she is still premature.

corn & syrup? I'm sure of it! there is HFCS in vaccines?! I'm sure this is what CVS is telling us!

Maybe it's spelled out in the rewards??

Don't let the cat in GP's signature know that. Have you ever seen a bunch of pirate cats looking for the RUM? Not a pretty sight.

you never see them coming, they just appear.

their little kitty sonar pings when they sense RUM!;)
