Vacations for next summer

Is anybody planning next year's summer vacation yet? We want to go away at the end of June for our anniversary but I can't think of where we can go. Our favorites are Florida and Las Vegas but both of those places are soooo hot that time of year - not to mention the humidity in Florida. I keep hoping something will pop into my head.

Why not go to Montreal? It's a gorgeous city, not too far from you, not too hot or terribly expensive, and it's leaving the country

We are doing WDW in January and I think England in May.

We are going to an all-inclusive in Cancun. It's great you don't need to carry any money, just wear a wrist band and take your room key.

WDW, 2nd week of June...after the kids get out of school. We can't wait! This is our first vacation since our 1999 trip to WDW.

Nothing definite planned for summer yet. We were tossing around the idea of a cruise, but that probably won't happen. Maybe Vermont for a long weekend. We have WDW planned for 12/06 and that time can't come fast enough!

We are up in the air about a vacation this summer because we might be moving. If we do go anywhere we will go to the Black Hills in SD and maybe on to Yellowstone if DH takes enough time off work.

Have you been to Banff in Alberta, Canada? BEAUTIFUL place and a great husband/wife type trip.

March 2006: RC 7 day cruise
April 2006: Gatlinburg for a big family trip
December 2006: WDW

We also might try to sqeeze in a weekend trip to Chicago or NYC in August.

Yep. We're staying in Nags Head, NC, to be specific. We're renting a 5 bedroom house 100 feet or so from the beach.

Yes, they're in North Carolina. My parents own a house out there on Emerald Isle (way to the south). It's very isolated, and relaxing vacation.
