Day 7: Wonderland Tea Party
Today is the last day of our Disney vacation. This morning we go to Chef Mickeys for breakfast (we always save this for the last day). We love Chef Mickeys and the food is good although at this point if I never see another buffet it would be too soon. We get lots of pictures. Then we go home. The girls, MM and M go swimming while S and I finish packing. Marie is fine in the water but when we come back to shower and change for the Wonderland Tea Party she looks sick. She just wants to sleep but we have to get out of the room. She decides to give the Tea Party a try. We have a pager so they can call us if she wants to leave. While the kids are in the Tea Party, we go to the GF Café for lunch. We have just enough time to eat when the pager goes off to go get the kids. When we arrive, we still have to wait another 10 minutes before the kids are let out. Marie looks terrible. We later find out that she asked to have us paged but they didnt. The CMs say she didnt ask until the end of the party but Marie says she asked as soon as they brought food out because she thought she was going to be sick. I believe Marie. The CM is really nasty. Anyway, the twins really enjoyed it.
It is time for me, Marie and MM to split from S, M and the twins to go to the next hotel. The twins are anxious to get home and see the dog. We thought they might be sad that Marie was staying but they dont seem to even realize that we are staying. We have a problem with rude bellman but eventually are on our way. Marie looks worse and worse. We get to the Renaissance Orlando and it is nice. Marie says it is the best hotel shes ever stayed in odd, considering we just came from the GF that costs about $200 more per night! We decide to stay in for the night. I give Marie childrens tylenol and as I do, she throws up all over me (for the second time this trip), the bed, MMs shoes, etc. We call housekeeping and they bring us clean sheets.
S, M and the twins have an uneventful flight home.
