So who's attended the Disney's Vacation Stories Unwrapped presentations? DW and I attended the 5:00 one last night following the Member Mixer. The start of the show with Deevy, Dr. Luke, and Ariel was pretty funny. Then it was down to business about what was up and coming for DVC and DCL and finally what incentives were being offered during the event. Since we didn't watch the webcast, I'm not sure if these were the exact same incentives offered but here you go.

AKV, GCV & SSR all @ $112/pt
Incentives of:
50 - 75 points $15/pt
100 - 120 points $17/pt
125 - 150 points $19/pt
160 - 180 points $21/pt
200 - 2000 points $23/pt

BLT is $120/pt and I believe the same point incentives as above but don't quote me on it. Since we already own there with plenty of points, we didn't consider it. Plus, I was too caught up on the fact that these incentives were only available at the event. My guide said if I called today to ask for these deals, it would be a no-go unless if I attended another event. (I'm guessing the next one is next Thursday before and after the Mixer.)

So, who else attended and who else is taking advantage of these incentives? For those wondering, we added a 4th resort to our portfolio (AKV) last night with another 160 points. Talk about an impulse buy! I'm still not sure what we did but my DW has been bugging me about it ever since we did the last add-on of BLT.

We didn't know anything about this event. We'll be down in three weeks, and I wonder if they will still offer these. How did you find out about it? The Member Merry Mixers will be over when we go, but we could still talk with our guide. We'd love to get incentives on 50 more points. Hmmmmmmmm . . . anxious to hear more about this.

I wonder if this is the same as the webcast I viewed last night? They were offering incentives on Bay Lake Towers, Animal Kingdom, California and Saratoga. My rep called me earlier in the week and told me if I called her on Friday the incentives were good for anotehr week or two for current members. I am waiting here back on BLT.

We watched the webcast on Tuesday night, and I don't remember there being incentives for less than 100 points. We'd like 50-60, so if they are offering incentives at WDW for fewer than 100, it might be worth our trouble.

I bought a 50pt add-on at AKV after the webcast last night. It was $15 off per point for add-ons of 50-99 points. At 100ptsitwent up to $17/pt

I've been wanting to up my # points since we bought in last December... this seemed like as good a timeas any!

Well maybe I am crazy, but I didn't write down any incentives for less than 100 points. And I would hope that I would have since that is what we are interested in. Did I miss it? Or was it one of those, chat with your guide situations?

and will attend the Vacation Stories presentation on Thursday. Just bought another 100 SSR points thru the TSS so we don't plan to buy any more at the show . . . but we stayed at BLT in September and it was awesome!

it was a chat with your guide situation. i was looking for 50-pt deals as well and they only listed incentives for 100 pts and above.

We spoke to our guide after the webcast and BLT does not have the same incentives as the others. It's still $5 discount on 50 to 159 points and $8 discount on 160 pts and up.

Our guide also said BLT is still selling well so there is no need for Disney to reduce the price further. Per wdrl there are more BLT contracts being sold than any of the others. http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=34411043&postcount=147

I just bought BLT, the webcast 160 pt addon incentive is $10

My wife and I were thinking about a 50 point add-on at AKV (We were enjoying our first stay at that resort at the time), but we went with 100 points for two reasons - $17/point incentive and 100 extra one-time points (2009?) thrown in, even though we have a February use year. We are absolutely done with add-ons now! (Unless they make us an offer we can't refuse)
