I'm still trying to consider all options for an upcoming trip 10+ family members will be taking in May. I know there are lots of options for offsite rentals with very competitive prices near WDW but haven't seen much about that kind of thing near DLR. Anyone know of such opportunities? As much as we want to be within easy walking distance of DLR, we'd give that up if we could find a great deal on a house that would allow more family members to be able to afford the trip.

I've never stayed in anaheim for vacation rentals but use the vacation rental by owners (vrbo) site for other stays for a longer period of time. Was recommended to it by another friend & find the owners so far to be quite easy to deal with.

Good luck & have fun at DLR!

I don't think you'll find many (if any) rental homes within walking distance of Disneyland. The area around the parks is built up with hotels, motels, restaurants and shops. You have to go out a little ways (more than walking distance) to find neighborhoods and those aren't very likely to have weekly rental houses. I think your best bet would be to find an all-suite hotel and get several rooms in a row for your large party. You may be able to find a rental, but it wouldn't be very close to DL. Good luck!:)

Thanks, that's what I was thinking but figured it's worth asking. The WDW area is so much different since anything offsite will pretty much require some means of transportation provided by the guest.

Try googling "Anaheim vacation rentals." I just did, and lots of stuff came up. You might find something! If you don't mind being a 15-25 minute drive away, you could also try nicer areas like Newport Beach or Huntington Beach or Costa Mesa, too.
