Vacation Planning ideas HELP!

I am looking for ideas on something to order from Vacation Planning! We are going to DL From Dec. 23-30th and at first I thought about getting the Christmas tree delivered to our room. BUT after thinking about it, I don't want to spend $200 for a tree that we will probably just leave there. I also looked into the stockings for the room, but I don't think my kids would be that interested in the items in them.

Any ideas would be great.

Did you ask about their Gingerbread houses. I know they have them @ WDW but not to sure about DL. At least it gives you some kind of Christmas decor and before you leave you & the kids can devour it.

How old are your kids? I know when I called a while back they had this special Princess thing you could order, I think it came with a tiara or something but it sounded really nice, maybe you can ask about gifts they offer and ask if they can have it in your room wrapped. They also had chocolate dipped strawberries and other specialty food stuff you could order and have it their before you check in.

I know they also do specialty cakes, maybe you can get one with a Christmas theme to it. They also sell all kinds of special Christmas items at the stores you could buy to make your room seem more Christmasy but if I am correct you want to have it in your room before you check in for the wow factor when you arrive. In that case I think the gingerbread house would be a good bet unless your kids are to old for that.


Me & my family will be there from Dec 25th - Jan 1st and we can't wait so excited. Good luck & I hope everything works out for you.

The gingerbread house is a really good idea. We usually decorate one every year at home, but because we will be gone we won't do one this year.

The kids are 7 and 9, so they are starting to get to the age where the little toys aren't as impressive anymore. I really wanted to do the tree but seriously $200 is way more than I want to spend.

Maybe we will see you there...we are going from the 23rd to the 30th....my count down is ON!
