Vacation in a Box Exchange Sent/ Received

No deliveries this weekend? I thought for sure someone would get theirs today... oh well, guess we'll see what Monday brings

She sent to my DS7 - he'll probably get it tomorrow if it should have been here that quickly Our mail generally takes an extra day thanks to Richmond... I'll post tomorrow afternoon and let you know

Checking the mail everyday.... nothing today, but that just makes the anticipation grow some more... I'm such a big kid LOL!

DS7 received his box from Evita_W - all we can say is WOW!! He was soooo thrilled and I wish you could have seen the look on his face

She sent:

A waterproof disposable camera (he's a camera bug
A Cars the movie beach towel
A large mug (like the souvenir popcorn mugs) Donald Duck

A package of Splash bombs (they'll love these at Water Country in a couple of weeks)
A package of candy from Goofy's candy store (he's eating it now)

My wife is the one that sent that, those are the popcorn buckets, we use them as large mugs too though...LOL, the handles should have been in the bottom of the box, they wouldn't fit unless I took them off, if they aren't there let us know and I'll check around where they were packed and make sure we didn't leave them behind.

Yep - they were there - sorry I left them off the list We have one from WDW but I don't think it had any characters on it like that... he loved it all- Thanks again!!

I am so glad you son liked everything! I hope his summer is the best!

BTW...the fare search went well and we have our tickets for our New Year trip to WDW. The best thing is that we bought it through Delta and have a best fare guarantee in case it changes.

Hope more got their vacations today!!! I love hearing what everybody got!

Hmmm.... two more packages are out and both were mailed by the mail out date.. . maybe the crazy weather we've all been experiencing has slowed things down a bit...I'm expecting one from another exchange that hasn't been received yet either so we'll see. DS5 runs to the front door everyday after school - but I guess everyday makes him even more excited

It was like Christmas

So, our nice package from Mommytotwo included:

A nice Packiderm parents' fashion insulated shoulder bag
a book " Smoothies & Ice Treats" Yummm
an EZ freeze container to keep our goodies cold on our summer hikes
A pocket fan, and
a card!

DS5 received his package from Stacielee today - he was thrilled!!

She sent a package of sports balls, Nemo cups w/ straws (my car thanks you), 2 Bear in the Big Blue House Wipe off activity books, A Simba Wipe off activity book, and a Mickey wipe off activity book. He says THANK YOU and asked when he could do another exchange
