Does anyone have a recommendation for a a vacation guide that covers Universal, Discovery Cove and Sea World?

Thanks!

IT is hard to find a great universal guide ... but I have just finished two great guide books!
They are
:) Econoguide, Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando by Corey Sandler
lots of info!
:) Beyond Disney, The unofficial guide to Universal, Sea World & The best of central Florida by Bob Sehlinger & Chris Mohney
This is my fave... :flower: I am a huge unofficial guide fan, and this book is excellent!
Both available at half.com, amazon, barnes and noble etc...
They are chock full of info!
The beyond disney book, gives a wonderful touring plan for  universal and :charac4: islands of adventure, to make wait times the shortest etc... ! We have used their touring plans before at wdw, and plan to use these at universal, they sound great!
Good luck!

We're heading to florida now for 7th trip and i'm not sure what type of traveler's you all are but we were quite disappointed in sea world. with the magic of disney and the sparkle of universal, this one left us disappointed. of course the last trip to sea world we were unable to see the new shark display and it might have added to the attraction. we just felt for the money, disney or univeral was the better bet.

Just wanted to say that we LOVE Sea World. I haven't been to the one in Orlando yet, but we've been to the one in San Diego quite a few times. It is a very different experience from places like Disneyland. It's much more focused on exhibits and shows, and not on rides. I think it's more relaxing. I guess it just depends on what you are looking for and what you expect and obviously that is different for everyone.

As far as guidebooks, the Unofficial Guide to WDW has a section on Sea World and a section on Universal. Fairly short, but I found them helpful. Because Sea World doesn't have many rides, you really don't need a guidebook as much as you do for Universal and WDW. I'd just say get there at opening and hit the rides first thing before the lines get long. Then spend the rest of the day exploring the exhibits and seeing the shows.

I love Sea World at San Diego and also the one in San Antonio but I was very disappointed in the one in Orlando. It was definitely a half day visit for me whereas I could stay at the one in San Diego for a couple of days.
