V & A's, is it worth it?

We have had our PS for some time, and have been reading some posts on not so positive experiences at V & A's...
My DH is a chef, we don't mind paying $$ for incredible dining experiences, but like everyone, don't want to be "gipped." Honest opinions welcome.....

We've gone 3 or 4 times, and can honestly say that only once did we have less than stellar service.

And we're trying to book in again!!

We just went there for our 10th anniversary and it was wonderful in all respects. We had the most amazing Albert (I wish I could remember his name!) and the service was stellar. The food was fantastic and I can still taste both the pork loin and the chocolate souffle. Keep your reservations - it is definitely worth the trip.

Definately worth it.

What type of chef is your hubby..you won't be able to enjoy if you are just thinking of they money..or...I can do better. You have to go in with an open mind.

We went on our honeymoon and it was the best meal we have ever had. We would love to go back but when you start bringing kids it makes it hard to pay for the meal and the sitter. We plan on going back on our 10 ann. on a no kids trip.

We haven't been since our 20th anniversary, 9 years ago and we loved it. The only reason we have't been back is there are so many other places we've wanted to go. A poster was kind enough to give the new menu and it certainly looks delicious. It's making me think our 30th should include V&A. Try it. My theory if you don't you'll never know. I f you don't like it you never have to go back. (which is how we feel about Fulton's and Alfredo's)

We ate at V&A for our 10th annerversary and we just loved it. It was by far the best meal we had ever had.
