OMG - what fun!!! I may have to invite myself next year!! How nice to see those silly smiles on Char's face! And love the view from your AKL room! The curse appears to be broken!! I think my room was directly above yours on the 5th floor - we had the same view. Ahhhh...I love love love the AKL....

No smelly room!! Plus a free upgrade to boot! (even though they tried to charge you for it) Sounds like a great time was had by all! This year's picture in Norway looks a little "happier" or "fuzzier"??? great fun!

Great F & W run-through! I'm so glad you got some "adult" time, complete with adult beverages and a room upgrade! Had to laugh at the up-charge though!

Good thing you didn't bring it to the CM's attention until the END of your stay-- otherwise, they'd have had Mousekeeping run in and spray some "Eau de Wet Dog Smoking a Stogie" so you'd feel like you were in a standard view!

This all just sounds like SO much fun! I love the updated picture - the viking headgear makes it better, indeed!

There's a restaurant here from which I nearly always order the Bored Doe - because I love the name and can never remember from time to time if I like the wine.

Sorry they tried to charge you for the upgrade, but at least you got it taken care of.

Sorry for being clueless here, but how does F & W festival work? Are these items you purchase? Or are they included with your ticket purchase? Or a seperate all together charge to partake in the festivities?

And how lucky to actually enjoy disney without kids. Wow what a concept. Will I ever experience that? I wonder.

Thanks everybody! It was a super good time, and so nice to write a TR over 2 days instead of 2 (give or take a few) months

To answer a couple questions...

Well, shoot - I've already missed you. But for future referecen - and for anyone else interested - Char found them at Boater's World. They only had a few left in the store, but they have plnety online!

You pay the regular day's admission to get into EP. The booths are all around WS and you can visit as many or as few as you want. You pay per item at the booths, about $2.5-5 per item. It all seems innocent enough, but can add up FAST!

That was a wonderful review. Seriously. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and really miss the F&W Festival. I keep changing my mind of when I want to return to Disney World ... first it's the first week or so in December, now it back to October. I guess I'll worry about it more when we actually start making plans to go ...

I loved it all!!! Oh it was soooo good V! I used the Gift Card tip and it worked out marvelously!

I'll be getting to this trip in my TR oh I dunno maybe December

I will definately want to make more F & W Fest trips though.

Loved the pics and reviews too. My friend didn't like the Steak & Chimichurri from Argentina either. My favorite was the Quesadilla's in Mejico though. Mmmmmmmm

No joke, and no exaggeration at all....... I gained 4 pounds that weekend. And I'm not talking water weight - those pounds STUCK. And my stomach still hurts!
