I am leaving for my trip in 7 days, staying at AKL, and planning to spend lots of time at the Food and Wine Fest.

I just skimmed through your TR (no time to read at a leisurely pace...I'm on my lunch break at work) so I'm not sure if this question was asked already, or not. How were the crowds? My DH and DD and I are going to the F&W for a quick Saturday to Sunday trip this upcoming weekend and I have a feeling that the crowd levels are going to be horrendous!

Hope I didn't miss you! Crowds weren't bad at all - much better than we expected. We rarely waited in lines with more than 3-4 people ahead of us and most booths had 2 CM's taking payment, which helped speed things up a lot. You'll have a blast!

We just got back from F&W Sunday evening and you were right about the crowds. Just a few people in line at each booth. It was drizzling on and off the whole time, so that probably kept some people away... But NOT ME. I loves me some food and wine!
