Using TS for CS.....

Are there many out there that don't want to plan and when you do plan, 160 days prior, there are NO reservtions left in MANY TS restaurants? I say we email disney, "contact us" on the disneyworld website and tell them this and hopefully they will come back with the trade off like last year......I am sure a lot of people feel they "have" to book TS or lose them, if this is the case, many, like myself will cancel these TS and use more CS meals........I emailed them twice.

First, keep trying. Not every table at every time is 'bookable' the full 180 days out. Last year, I couldn't get some times or locations when I first called, but a couple of months later - no problem.
Second, this year I have had NO trouble getting exactly what I want - I made three reservations at 180+10 days, and the rest earlier this week, at 162 days. And I know I'll be changing some stuff around
Finally, Disney reservationists are encouraging Guests to make their dining reservations when they make their room reservation; not necessarily at that moment, but they are indicating the need to plan ahead.

If, after all that, Disney determines that once the free dining period begins there are many Guests unable to use the DDP the way it's designed, they will likely put those contingency arrangements into effect. But I REALLY can't see them doing that five months in advance.

Just think though if everyone, including people who love TS sent, these e-mails to Disney and they did this again for this year that would let the people who only want to eat CS cancel all their ADRs so that other people could get those ADR openings.
