Using the Pool on Check out day

Can you use the pool on check out day? Or, once checked out, are you no longer a resort guest? The pool doesn't open until 11:00, but that's when you're supposed to check out. If you are allowed to use the pool, would there be places to change back into street clothes so you could head to the parks later?

Does it matter if the pool is Stormalong Bay? (Yes, we will be staying at the Yacht Club.)

We plan to check out, close down a park, and then drive to an airport hotel for the last night (have a really EARLY flight the next day), but 11-park closing is a long time. I thought it'd be nice if we could swim and then head to the parks mid-afternoon.

You can use all the amenities of your resort (including the pool, even if it is SAB) until midnight of your check-out day.

You are a Guest of the Resort until Mid-night on your check-out day. They do have changing areas at most of the Pools.

So go ahead and enjoy your day.

It's like early arrivals as well. Your room might not be ready until 4 pm but you can get everything else and enjoy the day .

We always arrive around 10/11am and never leave before 5pm to head back to the airport. DD and myself hit the parks DW lays around the pools to relax.

When we were last at Disney, we stayed at Contemporary. We checked in very early, 9am, and knew our room wasn't going to be ready but I needed to change clothes and get both kids changed. I just got a change of clothes out of our luggage, and took kids into lobby bathroom, and we changed in a large restroom stall, then were able to wash up at the sink and get ready for a full day at a park until we could check in @ 3 or 4pm.

You could use the pool, and normally there are pool restrooms, where you could dry off and change into clothes to wear into the park. Concierge could hold your luggage until you were ready to pick it up, usually you just have to have a luggage ticket to present when you were ready to pick it up.
