We used the airline check-in on our trip to BWV for the 1st week in January.
On our last day, we called Bell Services to come get our luggage. We had 2 suitcases that went into checked luggage, a carry-on bag, laptop, and 2 coats that we were carrying on the plane.
We escorted the bellman to the airline check-in desk at BWV. We checked in with the airline check-in desk. DH and I both showed our identification, and received our boarding passes.
We double checked that our checked luggage was taken care of until we got back to Atlanta, and made sure that the luggage tags were attached.
We received our boarding passes and put these in our carry-on bags.
Then our 2 checked pieces went in with airline check-in, and our 4 carry-on pieces (2 cases, 2 coats) went to bell services. It didn't take long, and the bellman was happy to wait 2 minutes so that we wouldn't have to keep up with our boarding passes all day in the parks.
We then went and spent a lovely day at the MK, making the rope drop ceremony at 9am.
We got back to BWV about an hour before our scheduled ME pick up time and hung out at the resort. (Our choice.) About 15 minutes before ME pick up time, we picked up our 4 items from Bell Services. About 5-10 minutes before pick up time, we found a place to go that we could see the ME bus arrival. At some point we took our boarding passes out of our checked luggage.
Our ME pick-up time was 5:20 p.m. ~ and the bus showed up at 5:20 p.m. (not 5:17, not 5:23) I was impressed!
The bus driver was aware that he was picking up exactly 2 people at BWV. The bus driver happily stored our 2 bags under the bus. The bus driver then drove to CBR and arrived at exactly 5:30 p.m, to pick up another family. He then used the same routine of putting items under the bus. He then took the CBR people to side A at the airport, and then dropped us off at Side B. He also knew that since we were flying Delta that we needed to get off at Side B. At this point, we had plenty of time. We went through security, to the
Disney store, and then had a meal at the Outback Steakhouse. (It was good, but not as good as any of the regular Outback's.) Outback asks for your flight time before you are seated. After that, we had a few minutes before our flight. We left Orlando at 8:20 EST. We landed in Atlanta, quickly picked up our checked bags, and headed home, having a very magical trip to the mouse.
Everything worked very smoothly.
