My DH, my two DS's and I all fly SW to Disney. We finally have enough points to book a flight for each of us. We each have our own Rapid Rewards number. I assume the points are attached to the RR number. Do I have to buy all four tickets separately to use the points? I have never had enough points to use before and don't have any idea how to do it.

Yes you will have to purchase them separately.
simply sign into your RR acct. select your flight dates. Switch the box that says "show fares" at the top from cash to points. That will tell you how many points for each flight that day. Select your flight times and continue booking as you normally do. You will still need to pay $5.80 each way for tax

Perfect. Thanks for the help.

OP: If each person traveling is using his/her own points to pay for his/her own flights then yes you will book each one individually. If you are using one person's points to pay for all of the flights then you can book them as a group of four.

When you book on points everyone gets their own confirmation number even when one person's points is used to pay for everyone's flights and they are booked as a group.

As Shelly F stated, there is a $5.60 security fee charge per person each way ($11.20 per person round trip). This is refundable if you cancel your flight.
