Using points at the poly?

Can you use your points to stay at the poly? I see the point listing on the dvc website but Im confused. We always stay at bay lake and we like staying on the monorail bc we have a toddler and it makes it easier.

If you purchased your ownership from Disney or before the resale restrictions took effect, yes. But the points are sky high, like 40+ points per night for a garden view room at some times. Plus you have to pay the $95 trade out fee to do it. It's a very very poor value for your points.
