Using other people's scooters for your waiting area

Man that is ruder than rude they would have understood some English when I got thru. Last year my husband and I rented a scooter for myself. I had a recent back & knee surgery and was facing my 3rd back surgery. I couln't walk very far and could only ride toddler rides so I was trying my best to enjoy the circumstances. I had some jerk step across my scooter while I was driving it down the middle of main st. u.s.a so he could cross the street faster. He actually stepped between me and the steering column and never said anything. I sure did tho. Then at the Mk fireworks we were parked in the handicapped viewing area and people who were okay and not with anyone tried to sit on my scooter's basket and block my view. But they were soon moved also. i believe in giving anyone a chance and courtesy but when you intentionally are a jerk I don't . While there I was temporarily crippled in my lower back and legs but my mouth worked just fine. I'm on my way back this year and I'm happy to report I'm walking fine now and I plan to be courtesy to those who are not and I suggest others do also for you never know how tomorrow may find you. I'm 30 and have 14 major operations under my belt work 12 hours a day and raise a family. Disney is a HAPPY place so let all be happy no matter what condition there in or how their living there life. BE good Mickey's watching!!!!!

OMG This takes the cake. and the icing on the cake- the kid using his fan!

Some people just do not have a clue.

What is wrong with people??? :sad2: I might have had to lower myself to spraying one of the adults in the face with the mister fan. After all, if they were so hot I would just want to be helpful.

When FIL got back on, the gears were not as he left them and as we moved away from this family, we could hear them laughing loudly behind us. Just a typical day at Disney I guess. :rotfl2:[/QUOTE]

well with this statement above it tells me they exactly knew what they were doing and did not care.....
It makes me think of my uncle (god rest his soul) he used to call the police to there face (this is a small town) you barney fife @#$%^&....yes i know that was wrong but with being my uncle it was funny :rotfl: , he meant no harm, but anyway thats what i would want to call those people, and i bet they could speak english.......

brooke :sunny:

A swift backhand would have solved the problem fast. I made a point to learn a few "choice" spanish and portugese words for our last trip and had to use the spanish ones at Epcot. Funny how they suddenly began to speak English! :confused3

Here is an even crazier story.

we was at Disneyland Innoventions. My husband uses a power chair (Electric Wheelchair) He is not in it full time yet but cant stand long or walk long distances. We decided to walk around Innoventions a little so he could stretch a little. when we returned a lady was sitting in his electric Wheelchair. It clearly was not a rental and had my jacket on it too.

Something similar happened to me, only this time I wasn't the victim...

I had planned to meet my mom in Tomorrowland at the Space Orbiter, so I saw our stroller, and sat next to it, and began drinking the pop I had left in the stroller. A couple minutes after I sat down, I saw a family approaching. "Excuse me, this is our stroller." "I don't think so. It's my family's." Then they showed me that their surname was on the nametag...

I was so embarassed!

All those strollers look the same though...:rotfl:

Things belong to other people? I thought I could do whatever I want, say whatever I want and sit wherever I want. I can't believe those people made me move. They think because they paid for it, they deserve it more than I do! Some people . . . . ;)

I am going to learn how to say "Rude people, I'm getting security" in six languages for my next trip.

I like the photo idea... more so that you can come and laugh at them with us later than making them feel any guilt. If they didn't have enough sense to feel guilty for sitting in the scooter and using the mister, then it would probably take a whole lot more than a photo to bother them!

Ewwwwww. yuck, barf. You poor thing. I can hear it now " I am so sorry, it IS your stroller, um by the way does the owner of the soda have any communicable diseases?" :rolleyes1
