Using Mypoints for Disney Gift Cards

no cvs does not allow you to buy gift cards with their gift cards, only merchandise.

I'm sorry I didn't read this whole thread, but has anybody bought the Disney GCs with RRs? The next few weeks aren't looking so hot to roll them. I thought maybe if I bought GCs on those weeks when there wasn't anything to roll them on and I need to use them up, I might build up a nice little stash.

No, you won't get points for a giftcard purchase thru Mypoints at TDS. As far as I know, there aren't any reward sites that give points or cash back there.

Sorry, that's what I meant. They give points for merchandise, but not giftcards.

They can be used at the parks. I used one towards our dinner at Kona Cafe and one at the gift shop at Pop Century.

RR's can't be used towards GC's.

All the stores around me would not let me use the Walgreens GC for a Disney GC. Heck they wouldn't even let me use my debit card. Cash only!

Yes, same thing here. When I asked why, they told me that they've had problems with stolen credit cards & gift cards--the thieves know people are going to cancel the cards so they use them to buy gift cards ASAP. Then they can use the gift card later....

I received my Walgreens card yesterday and went to Walgreens last night and converted it to a Disney GC. Very easy, the clerk didn't bat an eye.
