Using ME at different times

We are flying into MCO late Saturday night (after 10pm) and to take advantage of free dining we moved our package to start Sunday. I'm thinking about booking a room at the Hyatt at the airport so we can land, rest, sleep and then head to Disney early the next morning. The problem is my DH is a night owl and with the three hour time difference I know he won't want to get up early like I will. Can my DD and I use ME early and he take ME later in the day after he gets up or would we all be stuck until everyone is ready to go?

Also, can we still use the ME tags and leave our bags and let them be taken to the resort for us or would we have to pick them up since technically we are flying in after 10pm?

YOu can go at different times if you wish. You can even reserve DME accordingly with DH with a different "arrival time" for your Sunday check in day.

You should collect your bags, bring them to your room, then bring them down to the Magical Express welcoming area. Not sure whether the Hyatt for a fee still offers to take your bags from the room down to the DME baggage area which is in a different place from the welcoming area.

While DME tagged bags left overnight in the airport since 10 PM will be taken to the resorts the next day, dealing with bags lost by the airline in this situation would be between you and the airline.
